HOW DOES MY ACTIVITY
SUPPORT THE SCIENCE?
In Phase 1 of the project, you can view contributed images taken on the Reef, and help with data collection through your observations as you classify images.
In Phase 2 of the project, divers and snorkelers will be able to submit underwater images taken on trips to the Great Barrier Reef, which will be made available for everyone to classify online.
Become a citizen scientist and classify underwater images in Virtual Reef Diver and you could win a GoPro Hero 6 camera – allowing you to take all number of amazing shots, including underwater shots of the Great Barrier Reef.
